RADSA
The RA Duty Scheduling Application:
Open-source software for scheduling nightly RA duties
A ConzTech solution
The RA Duty Scheduling Application (RADSA) was created by a Resident Assistant and Assistant Hall Director as a way to help reduce the amount of time and frustration it took them to create monthly duty schedules. What started out as a classroom project has since developed into a globally accessible web application.
With a culture of curiousity and collaboration the ConzTech team strives to make our customers' lives just a little less stressful.
Our history
A classroom project
RADSA actually started out as a classroom group project. The assigned task was to create an interactive web application on a topic of your choosing. The group had hope that the app could be used by the school's Res Life department, but without much polish, there was limited interest in the app.
Real-world application
Even after the grade was received, ConzTech's founder, Tyler Conzett, kept working on RADSA. The goal: make the application useful for his staff. At the time, Conzett had been hired as an Assistant Hall Director the following year.
An idea becomes a business
After two years of user feedback and iterations, RADSA was able to stand on its own. ConzTech, LLC was formed as a way to provide support and user-training on top of the open-source software.
Present
ConzTech, LLC continues to provide a high standard of support for RADSA with regular updates and new features. ConzTech has also started taking on new projects as well– join our email list to stay tuned!
